Thriller...

It was a chilly night. Rain poured down on her body. Christina shivered heavily, waving her arm calling for help. it was a terrifying day for her and she'd never forget what had happened to her. When she was waving her arms high up her head, a car pulled over and swept her away. The driver's name was Billy Horn and he was about 40 years old. He smiled at her.
"What were you doing there?" He asked. Christina kept her silence and looked down towards her bleeding knee. "Who were you with and what's your name?" She still kept silence. After a couple of minutes, she started to speak.
"I was on my way back to Texas..." She began her story which started in a gloomy place.
     Thursday, 18.50 p.m, Cunningham, California.
"Sweet dream...oh beautiful night yeah..." That's her favourite song by Beyonce. While she was driving, she sang along with the song. She felt happy as ever as she's going to her hometown in Texas. She moved her body from side to side along with the beat of the music. Suddenly, her car began to be out of control. She hit an old barren tree which damaged her car front badly. Blood was running down her face. She opened the door and stepped out of the car.
She cursed and kicked the car tires. she looked around her and saw nothing but a hollow tree on her left and the forest on her right. she felt afraid of her surrounding as if someone was watching her from every conner of the trees. She then took out her bag and started walking away from her car, trying to find any help.
'It's okay. Don't worry. I'll be fine. When a car comes by, i'll just wave my arm and get help.'-That was what she thought of but there was no sign of any single car. After 30 minutes of restless walking, she found a gloomy hotel. There were several cars parked at the parking lot, but the cars looked dusty and unwashed for years. The nylon lamp signalling 'HOTEL' was blinking and the letter 'L' was even out of place. she pushed the door and the bell rang.
"Hello... Anyone here? Hello..." She called out again for any respond but none was heard. A sudden fear enveloped her and goosebumps appeared on her back with a cold shiver running down her neck. When she turned around, there was a pale old man. She gave a start. The old man smiled at her.
"Yes, may i help you? Need a room for tonight?" He asked. Christina kept asking how he appeared so suddenly from her back but she shook her head.
"No thank you but i'm looking for..." But the old man started talking again, ignoring her answer.
"I see that you need a break, here's the key to room 626. Have a good rest." He said and smiled meekly at her. Before she managed to say anything, the old man walked away. She couldn't do anything but went to the room given to her, opened the door and straight to bed. She tried not to close her eyes, but she did and soon she was sound asleep.
    Thursday, 22.24 p.m, room 626.
Christina wake up with a fright. She heard a loud sound of something falling. She got up, put on her singlet and went out of her room. On her left, nothing. Then, on her right, nothing too. Suddenly she heard a sreaming voice from a distance from her left. She started to run towards the passage way on the right. Near the bathroom, a dark shadow unseen crawling, trying to catch her. She then entered the bathroom. Herbreath was hard and slow. She tried to catch her breath a couple of times and after a moment, began to relax a bit. Then she heard a crying sound. A woman's voice! She couldn't see the woman clearly in the dark so she used her phone camera and tried to catch a picture of the woman. Everytime she flashed her camera, the woman would disappear. In the end, she caught her picture and to her horror the woman was dead costume player who tried to kill her. She quickly opened the door and ran as fast as she could towards the staircase, pushed the door and running down to level 5, 4 and as she was approaching level 3, the shadow figure tried to catch up with her again but she made it through the door just in time. She ran into a room where there was a little girl asleep. The girl was nearly awakened but she sang a lullaby and the little girl went back to her slumber. Christina had to walk slowly out of the room and once out, she gave a sigh of relief.
'That was close... I can't stand this anymore. I'm out of here.' She thought but then a hard blow hit her head and shw woke up and realized she was in a vault and saw a man tied up and babbling about something, repeating the same thing over and over again.
"Horse, hand, tree. Horse, hand, tree..." The man said. Christina saw in the room a picture of a horse with three legs, a spider with six legs, a hand with nine fingers, seven eyes and a tree with five roots.. She then saw a padlock that had three  umbers to fill with.
'I think i need to put the right numbers to get the heel out of here.' She thought. She struggled to break free and turned the number combination to 3,9 and 5 and unlock it. She looked behind her and saw the man was still. She went out the room, and saw a phone on a table with athe reciver hanging out of the place. She picked it up and put it back. Then, she heard a voice.
"Don't hang up. Don't you want to get out of here? Listen to me!" She was terrified.
"Now, run straight and turn left." She did what he told. "Now turn right. Believe me, if you want to stay alive, turn right. Good luck!" The voice ended with a long laugh.  She ran down the stairs, to the lobby and straight out into the road. Although it was raining, she still ran as far as she could from the hotel.
Friday, 3.30 a.m, in the car with Billy Horn.
" That's what happened to me. It has changed my life forever. I will never forget this event." She said gloomily. "I'm glad i'm out of there." She smiled to herself.
"Hahaha... Do you really think it will be over that easily?" Billy responded. Christina felt strange feeling, and then she looked at Billy and saw his face, gushing with blood. His left eye was out of place and half of his skull was exposed. Christina gave loud shrieks.
      Friday, 9.30 a.m, near Christina's car.
"This is really tiring. Every single week, there'll be one very mysterious death. I on't think we'll ever find the killer." Said a police officer. They were having their usual beat near the forest. This has become the sixth unsolved murder that happened at the same spot.
"I agree. We'll just inform a forensics and the case will be close as usual." Said another police officer. "What a shame. She's so hot. What's her name again?"
      "Christina Raffael."
